Howdy Storytellers 🤠!

I need to tell you something that broke my heart.

There’s a good chance you are struggling with this… and maybe by the end of this email, we’ll be able to help you overcome this so you can achieve your storytelling dreams with more confidence and strength.

But first, this Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm ET we are hosting the Movie Machine Public Beta Launch Party, where you’ll hear from me, leaders of the Creatorwood Team, and storytellers on the platform about how to use the Movie Machine to make incredible films.

I’ll also be giving an exclusive update on where Creatorwood will be going over the next few months and what that means for you and your stories… things are starting to really heat up!

You can RSVP and join for free HERE. It’s going to be AWESOME.

Note: if you can’t make it live, no worries, recordings of the entire event will be posted online.

Now onto the story that I have to get off my chest.

“My mom thinks AI movies are dumb”.

No, it’s not about my mom. She actually loves AI movies and can’t wait to make her own as soon as she has time (her day job is pretty demanding!).

Instead, it’s about a storyteller making films on Creatorwood, who told me something that made me beyond angry. Their family isn’t supportive of their creative dreams. They even made fun of them for the first scene they made on the Movie Machine.

This isn’t a story about any one person in particular. The truth is after talking to 100+ of you one-on-one over the last couple months, I’ve had many of you bring this up to me.

“My partner has no interest in what I’m doing. They won’t even watch my film.”

“I’m scared to tell my friends. I’m pretty sure they will think what I’m making is silly.”

“My family keeps telling me to focus on a ‘real’ career.”

The list goes on and on.

And whether we know it or not, often times these voices subconsciously become our own doubts.

“Does anyone even care about seeing my story on screen anyways?”

I was lucky enough to grow up with a mom who supported me in anything I did, no matter how crazy my dreams were.

  • Writing sci-fi books and self-publishing them on the internet even when we both had no idea what self-publishing was? She drove me to my first job handing out pool towels so I could save the money to self-publish my first book (hiring an editor, cover designer, etc.).

  • Starting a YouTube channel to roadtrip the country? She was scared for this one 😂, but didn’t stop me when I decided to take a semester off from school.

  • Starting a platform to help people turn their stories into films with AI (tv shows, movies, & more)? She was the first one to tell me to quit my job working for MrBeast.

Having someone believe in me in the moments that even I have doubted myself has helped give me the confidence to pursue my dreams as a storyteller.

And I can’t help but tear up when I start to think about:

  • All the pages that remain blank despite full hearts with stories

  • The dreams that get thrown to the wayside for a “later year”… and that year never arrives

  • The story sitting on someone’s hard drive, ready to be shared with the world – but the fear of it not being “good” holds someone back from ever knocking the dust off that manuscript

I can’t give all of you my mom (that would be super weird). But what we, at Creatorwood, can give you is a supportive community that is here to help you in all of your creative endeavors (whether they involve the Movie Machine or beyond).

It’s kind of weird for a technology company to care so much about community. Usually it’s code everyday all the way down. And don’t get me wrong… our software is so important. But everything we do at Creatorwood is in service of giving power to all of YOU as storytellers.

And that power doesn’t just lie in technology alone, it lies in each other.

So if you’ve ever been wanting to join a place where:

Pioneering the future of storytelling is normal, not the exception.

A group of people not waiting for Hollywood for validation but instead taking the leap themselves.

A team of people constantly improving their storytelling and AI filmmaking skills and SUPPORTING each other

Then you might like our Discord.

You can join here, completely free.

No matter what kinds of stories you write, or which stage of your journey you are at – we hope that this community can help you mount over the belief barrier and take the next step forward to bringing your story to life.

For me, a community of storytellers who are on a similar path to the one I dream of has been one of the most transformative things in my life. I consider the community as a second family to me.

And I’m so incredibly grateful that many of the members of my storytelling community have joined the Creatorwood Team, become best friends of mine, and have made this a place that is truly special (p.s. you can join Creatorwood right here, we are in public beta now).

Thank you all for being awesome.

Together we are boundless.

And I hope you know that I believe in your ability to grow. I believe in your stories. And I know you are going to do amazing things.

Your first scene is just the beginning. You’ll keep getting better and eventually, you’ll be making scenes and stories that are mind blowingly awesome (plus, not everyone needs to love your story, just a core group of people it resonates with is the greatest power in the world 😊).

The world is changing faster than ever now. What people thought was silly or people laughed at a few months ago will be mainstream in 2026. The technology is rapidly improving and now is our time as storytellers to seize power.

It’s time to create Creatorwood together.

The only thing you are limited by is your imagination, belief, and your laptop having a wifi connection.

With all this said, don’t forget to RSVP to our Launch Party for the Movie Machine Public Beta HERE (takes place this Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm ET).

And you can join the Creatorwood Discord here.

I’ll be in touch soon.

And as always don’t forget…

Storytellers Rule the World,

Michael Evans

CEO at Creatorwood

P.S. We have a free book all about how to turn your story into a film and your film into a profitable business using Creatorwood. You can download the book right HERE.
