Howdy Storytellers 🤠,
It’s been a little quiet around here. But behind the scenes? There’s been a lot going on.
We’re working on 100 active VIP Productions at Creatorwood. We’ve grown fast, and we’re learning more than ever about what it actually takes to turn your stories into movies and shows with AI.
Not just how to make one beautiful shot. How to make the next shot, and the next scene, feel like they belong to the same story. Your story.
And things are starting to get really good 😊.
We’re getting ready to open up a lot more VIP Production slots in 2027, where our team works with you to bring your story to the screen. We’re also continuing to improve the Movie Machine for storytellers who want to make their own films.
While VIP Production is open for business, the Movie Machine is still on a waitlist. We don’t want to call it too early. We want to make sure the experience is ready before we invite more of you in. We’ll share more as we get closer (we think a public launch is 3-6 months away).
In the meantime, we don’t want to keep everything we’re learning to ourselves. So we’ve got some free workshops to share with you, starting with one you can watch right now 👇.
Watch the free workshop: bring your story to the screen
Want to write a story that works on screen? In my first Novel November workshop, I shared how visual scenes, clear stakes, and characters we care about can help your story make the leap to movies and shows. You can watch the whole thing for free.
A novel, a script, an idea you can’t stop thinking about. Whatever you’re starting with, it still all starts with your story.

Coming up this Saturday: take your story further
Authortube Writing Conference
📆 Saturday, November 7 · 5–6 p.m. Central / 6–7 p.m. Eastern
📺 Free, on YouTube
What else could you build around the stories you create?
In “From Author to Empire: 100 Ways to Monetize Your Story,” I’ll share ways to build a business around your stories, from films and memberships to merch and licensing. Because your story can be a whole lot bigger than one format.
You’ll leave with ideas you can actually try. And the whole conference is free, so there’s plenty more to explore before and after our session.
From the big screen at NINC to desserts in Vegas
Back in September, we rented a movie theater at NINC in Florida and screened AI films for a room full of authors. Seeing these stories on a big screen instead of a laptop? That hits a little differently 😊.

Next stop: Author Nation in Las Vegas!
If you’re coming, stop by Booth B3. We’ll be sharing Movie Machine demos, answering questions, and talking about where your story could go next. Want a little more time with the team?
And on Wednesday, November 11, from 8–10 p.m. Pacific, join us for Creatorwood After Hours: Just Desserts.

Come for a dessert buffet and a chance to hang out with fellow storytellers. We’ll be a short walk from the Horseshoe, with the location shared before the event. No big presentation. Just good company and a lot to talk about.
Bring your story to the screen
Novel November with ProWritingAid
📆 Monday, December 7 · 3–4 p.m. Central / 4–5 p.m. Eastern
💻️ Free, online
How do you go from words on a page to a story on screen?
In “You Wrote the Book. Now Make the Movie,” I’ll walk through choosing scenes, writing the script, working with AI in production, and bringing it all the way to a premiere. Real examples. Honest timelines. What this process actually looks like, not just the highlight reel.
The session starts with adapting a novel, but if you’re a storyteller curious about making a film, come hang out with us.
Whether we see you online or over dessert, I’m excited to share more of what we’re learning.
I’m more excited than ever about the future of storytelling. Just about a year ago, getting out 2 minutes of finished film from the Movie Machine was challenging. 1 year later, we are making thousands of minutes of film in VIP Production and we have started to see early signs of people using the Movie Machine on their own and getting great output.
Next up? Keep doubling down on making it even easier to make great movies & shows with Creatorwood, prepare for the public launch of the Movie Machine, AND refine our streaming platform so you all have a way to not only distribute your films but grow your viewership.
It’s early days and so much more work to come. It’s time for us to sprint harder than ever.
As always, don’t forget…
