I wrote Beyond the Book because at 18 I wrote and self-published 12 sci-fi novels.
I was also broke.
At the time, the only way I could imagine making money from my books was page reads on Kindle Unlimited.
Then I went to work for MrBeast, where I learned that he made an extremely small portion of his income from videos. The vast majority of his income? Came from selling chocolate bars (Feastables), software (Viewstats), and lunch kits for kids (Lunchly).
And it wasn’t just MrBeast. Authors were getting in on the beyond the book fun too, turning their stories into empires.
I started a community and podcast called Beyond the Book to bring these authors together, some making millions a year with story letters, others selling tons of books by creating AI trailers of their stories on social media, and others experimenting with new media formats entirely.
This is the community that inspired Creatorwood, which we started building exactly a year ago.
